A small act of care

The turning year

Eight seasonal touchstones for rest and renewal.

This sanctuary follows the modern eight-festival Wheel of the Year, with Samhain marking the close and beginning of the pagan cycle. Traditions and observance dates vary.

Come back to yourself

Rest that meets you where you are.

☾01 · Pause

Let the quiet hold you.

Use a void Moon as a gentle cue to step back, soften urgency, and breathe. A comfortable chair and a few unhurried minutes can be enough.

What can wait while I rest?
✧02 · Replenish

Choose what restores you.

Fresh water, a nourishing meal, a warm bath, quiet music, or an early night. Let rejuvenation be simple, personal, and free of pressure.

What would feel replenishing today?
❀03 · Renew

Move with the season.

The pagan year makes room for gathering, release, stillness, and renewal. Let each season shape a small act of care, without rushing the next chapter.

About the calendar & lunar timing

The Moon’s daily sign is shown at noon Eastern Time. New and full moons mark exact phase moments. The current phase and illumination are calculated for the current time; the panel refreshes every minute, with NASA’s dated lunar visualization advancing each hour when available. Saved phase references provide an approximate visual fallback. Rest suggestions are optional practices, not astronomical events. Void-of-course dates can differ between astrological traditions.

Calculated with . Sources: Astrodienst · Void-of-course definition · US Naval Observatory phase reference.

Seasonal observances: Pagan Federation · OBOD Wheel of the Year. Spring/autumn equinoxes and summer/winter solstices use calculated dates in Eastern Time. Imbolc is marked February 1, Beltane May 1, Lughnasadh August 1, and Samhain October 31.
